The short answer is no, there is not a list of NCRO members available on line at this time. When the NCRO began soliciting for members, we promised confidentiality. We are considering asking members if they want to opt out of the confidentiality agreement and allow all dues paying members the opportunity to do a member search.
We trying to reach more potential members by setting up accounts on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. If we can get curent members to 'follow' the NCRO on Twitter and they in turn draw a few non-NCRO members to Twitter and then to us, we will grow and reach our goals of 12,000 members sooner rather than later.
Note that you do NOT have to follow the NCRO on Twitter to be a member or receive email updates! Reply to this

We are now in a critical period where retirees may feel safe, and stop joining the NCRO.
We avoided disaster in bankruptcy, but have to push on. Our benefits can be canceled at any time or Chrysler can go bankrupt again.
We want to sign up 12,000 members so that we always represent the majority of retirees. We will be working with other organizations to try and get legislation to put retirees first on the list of creditors. That is going to be a significant task.
Please post your suggestions and ideas as to how we can reach out to those still not members.

A couple of things that I would like to see are: 1) a date associated with each article, not just each section. That way we could scan and see what has been added since our last visit. 2) a more detailed and up-to-date accounting of income and expenses. Not every penny but by major categories. I think people would be more likely to join if they could see just how our monies are being used.
I like the fact that articles are placed in sections. I also like the 'hot topics' being placed at the top of the screen. Keep up the good work! Reply to this

Great ideas, so thanks for those. We have a board meeting tomorrow (June 22) and I will bring up item 2, about detailed and up to date financial disclosures.
As far as item 1, "date associated with each article" I do post the date of each article. The date follows the author's name and the name of the publication. The dates will be easier to see if they are in bold though so I will make that change.
Lastly, thank you for the compliments as well. Much appreciated.
